100 illustrationsExcellent cookbook! I bought this as a gift for a friend, and he loved it.The cover is heavy and textured, and the gold is shiny. It's really an impressive-looking book. The recipes have awesome sketches, and are entertaining to read, as well. They're written in the style of H.P. Lovecraft. The recipes are also listed more plainly in the back of the book, as well, just in case the flowery language made it hard to understand the steps.I didn't make anything from the book myself, but it seemed like they would be tasty and fun to cook.Great Cookbook! A great cookbook! The art and composition are great, and I love being able to serve delicious snacks, drinks and deserts to my madly screaming guests. Also I now always know what to serve when I accidentally summon a Great Old One to keep them from devouring me!Lovecraft's cook book, if he were to write one Through great Amazonian peril I have at last obtained the forbidden Necronomnomnom! With a minor knowledge of the arcane cooking arts, one can easily reproduce the great recipes therein. Wait... is that a tentacle reaching out from my oven....
